ECT

and search and contend and witness together, for we belong not to ourselves but to him who has purchased us by the blood of the cross. We do know that this is a time of opportunity -- and, if of opportunity, then of responsibility -- for Evangelicals and Catholics to be Christians together in a way that helps prepare the world for the coming of him to whom belongs the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. +++

COMMENTARY

For the evangelical endorsers of this ECT document to set aside or so distort the grace of God, the very Gospel of Christ, "lending credance" to another gospel as equally valid... this is NOT to prepare the world for Christ, but rather to insure that millions of Catholics and evangelicals will not be ready for that return of Christ to this world. This document helps to prepare the way for the "lawless one" prophesied in 2 Thessalonians 2 and the "beast" spoken of in Revelations 13.
